Born in Chengdu in 1994, he graduated from Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts in 2017, then studied at Venice Academy of Fine Arts and received her master’s degree in 2021. She now lives and works in Chengdu and Chongqing.

Li Yao Yao is the youngest artist in this exhibition. Her works cover performance, installation, video, poetry and other methods of creation, mainly focusing on the transformation and extension of the physical environment in the space of containing and being contained, as well as the encounters and connections of all “uncertain possibilities.”

Recently she has been exploring the relationship between the perception of self-imagery about the body and the attractive force tendency of repetitive memories and future emotions. She starts from text, dream and sound to build a parallel world of inner micro-movement and being moved triggered by perception.

Her works have been exhibited in the 12th International Art Exhibition in Italy, the 10th UP-ON Up International Live Art Festival in Chengdu, and the Chongqing Xu Art Space, among other important art exhibitions at home and abroad.
