He Gong said in the interview: “When you invited me to participate in this exhibition, Geography of Feeling, the first thing that came to mind was to incorporate elements of geography, maps, globes, travel, colonial exploration, aggression, and endurance into my work. Although this work is still in the process of being finalized, I still feel quite excited about it. As a marginalized person, I’m always running around the earth, being fascinated by drawing maps and making globes. I like it very much.
