Chengdu International Poetry Week

Chengdu International Poetry Week, started from 2017, is an annual celebration of poetry in Chengdu. Despite their fame, race and religious beliefs, poets from all over the world are warmly welcomed to visit the city, tour around its most famous cultural and historical sites, and have heated discussions on poetry with their Chinese counterparts who also join the event. The event is co-organized by Chengdu Bureau of Culture and Tourism, Chengdu FALC (Chengdu Federation of Art and Literary Circles) and CDRTV (Chengdu Radio and TV Station).
